How to Renew or Update Your Domain

Keeping your domain name active is essential to ensure that your website and email services continue working without interruption. With Zentec Solutions, renewing or updating your domain is quick and easy.

✅ Step 1: Log in to Your Zentec Client Area

 

✅ Step 2: Manage Your Domain

  • Click on the domain you want to update

  • From this page, you can:

    • Renew your domain manually

    • Enable or disable auto-renewal

    • Change name servers

    • Update WHOIS contact details

    • Lock or unlock the domain

 

✅ Step 3: Renew Your Domain

To renew manually:

  1. Click the Renew Now button

  2. Choose the renewal period (typically 1 to 5 years)

  3. Complete the payment to confirm

???? Tip: Enable Auto-Renewal to avoid accidental expiration

 

✅ Step 4: Update Domain Contact Information

  • Go to the Management Tools > Contact Information section

  • Update the admin, technical, and billing contacts if needed

  • Click Save Changes

???? Make sure your email is valid — ICANN requires domain confirmation emails.

 

ℹ️ Need to Update DNS or Name Servers?

Go to Management Tools > Nameservers, and:

  • Choose to use default Zentec nameservers, or

  • Enter custom ones from a third-party DNS provider

 

⚠️ Important:

  • Domains that expire may enter a grace period or redemption phase — additional fees may apply

  • Always renew domains at least a few days before expiration to avoid service disruption
