  • 0

Once you've created your custom email address in cPanel (like you@yourdomain.com), you can easily connect it to email clients like Microsoft Outlook or Gmail to send and receive emails more conveniently.

✅ Step 1: Gather Your Email Settings

Before configuring anything, make sure you have the following information from your cPanel:

  • Email address

  • Email password

  • Incoming mail server (IMAP/POP3): usually mail.yourdomain.com

  • Outgoing mail server (SMTP): usually mail.yourdomain.com

  • IMAP Port: 993 (SSL) or 143 (non-SSL)

  • SMTP Port: 465 (SSL) or 587 (TLS)

???? Option A: Configure on Microsoft Outlook

  1. Open Outlook

  2. Go to File > Add Account

  3. Enter your full email address and click Connect

  4. Choose IMAP

  5. Enter your mail server settings (see above)

  6. Enter your password when prompted

  7. Click Done

✅ Your inbox should now be synced!

???? Option B: Connect Your Email to Gmail

This will allow you to send and receive your custom domain email from inside your Gmail inbox.

  1. Log into Gmail

  2. Click the ⚙️ Settings icon > See all settings

  3. Go to the Accounts and Import tab

  4. Under Check mail from other accounts, click Add a mail account

  5. Enter your full email address and click Next

  6. Choose Import emails using POP3

  7. Fill in:

    • Username: full email address

    • Password

    • POP Server: mail.yourdomain.com, Port 995

    • Check “Leave a copy of retrieved message on the server”

  8. Click Add Account

To send emails:

  • Gmail will then ask if you want to send emails as this address → Click Yes

  • Add the SMTP server: mail.yourdomain.com, Port 587

  • Enter your login credentials again

  • Click Add Account

ℹ️ Having Issues?

  • Double-check your email and password

  • Make sure ports and server names match exactly

  • Some firewalls or antivirus software may block connections — try disabling temporarily
