Once you've created your custom email address in cPanel (like you@yourdomain.com), you can easily connect it to email clients like Microsoft Outlook or Gmail to send and receive emails more conveniently.
✅ Step 1: Gather Your Email Settings
Before configuring anything, make sure you have the following information from your cPanel:

Email address

Email password
-
Incoming mail server (IMAP/POP3): usually
mail.yourdomain.com -
Outgoing mail server (SMTP): usually
mail.yourdomain.com -
IMAP Port: 993 (SSL) or 143 (non-SSL)

SMTP Port: 465 (SSL) or 587 (TLS)
???? Option A: Configure on Microsoft Outlook

Open Outlook
-
Go to File > Add Account

Enter your full email address and click Connect

Choose IMAP
-
Enter your mail server settings (see above)

Enter your password when prompted
-
Click Done
✅ Your inbox should now be synced!
???? Option B: Connect Your Email to Gmail
This will allow you to send and receive your custom domain email from inside your Gmail inbox.

Log into Gmail

Click the ⚙️ Settings icon > See all settings

Go to the Accounts and Import tab

Under Check mail from other accounts, click Add a mail account

Enter your full email address and click Next

Choose Import emails using POP3
-
Fill in:
-
Username: full email address
-
Password
-
POP Server:
mail.yourdomain.com, Port 995 -
Check “Leave a copy of retrieved message on the server”

Click Add Account
To send emails:

Gmail will then ask if you want to send emails as this address → Click Yes

Add the SMTP server:
mail.yourdomain.com, Port 587 -
Enter your login credentials again

Click Add Account
