A common question we receive at Zentec Solutions is:
“Do I fully own my website after it’s built?”
The short answer is: Yes — but with some important clarifications.

✅ What You Fully Own

Once your website is delivered and paid in full, you own:

• ✅ The content you provided (text, logos, images, documents)

• ✅ The layout and design created specifically for you

• ✅ The final website files (HTML, CSS, JS, WordPress setup, etc.)

• ✅ Any licensed content you purchased separately (stock photos, plugins, etc.)

You have the right to:

• Transfer your site to another host

• Edit or manage it yourself

• Reuse your content elsewhere

⚠️ What You May Not Fully Own

• ❌ Premium templates or licensed assets provided by Zentec under developer licenses (e.g., Elementor Pro, WP Bakery, themeforest licenses) remain covered by Zentec’s license. If you move your site elsewhere, you may need to buy your own license to keep premium features.

• ❌ Custom code developed for other clients (if reused in your project) remains the intellectual property of Zentec but is licensed to you for unlimited use on your website.

???? What You Receive at Handover

At the end of your project (upon full payment), you may request:

• A full site backup (ZIP)

• WordPress admin credentials

• cPanel or FTP access (if hosted by Zentec)

• List of active plugins and licenses

• Domain transfer code (if needed)

???? Exceptions (For Subscription-Based Packages)

If you are on a monthly plan or rent-to-own option, full ownership is transferred once the agreed number of payments has been made. Until then, Zentec retains ownership of the website infrastructure.
