How to Request a Revision on Your Website Print

  • 0

At Zentec Solutions, we want your website to reflect your vision. Each development package includes a number of revision rounds, depending on your plan.

Here’s how to submit your revision requests effectively and avoid delays:

✅ Step 1: Understand What Counts as a Revision

A revision is a change to the content or layout that was already included in your approved project scope.

✅ Examples of accepted revisions:

  • Replacing text or images

  • Adjusting layout or alignment

  • Updating a phone number, link, or address

  • Minor design tweaks (font, color, button size)

❌ Not considered a revision:

  • Adding new pages or functionalities

  • Rebuilding sections that were previously approved

  • Changing the entire structure after final approval

These may require a new quote.

✅ Step 2: Check Your Plan’s Revision Limit

  • Basic Website Package: 1 round of revision

  • Standard Package: 2 rounds of revisions

  • Premium / Custom Projects: Up to 3 rounds or as stated in your agreement

???? A “round” includes all changes submitted together. Make sure to group your edits before sending.

✅ Step 3: Submit Your Revision Request

  1. Log in to https://zentecsolutions.ca/billing

  2. Go to Support > Submit a Ticket

  3. Select Website Development department

  4. Include:

    • Your domain or project name

    • A clear list of requested changes

    • Screenshots or examples if possible

    • Indicate if this is your 1st, 2nd, or 3rd round of revision

✅ Step 4: Wait for Implementation

  • Standard revision turnaround: 2–4 business days

  • You’ll be notified by email once your updates are live

  • Review and confirm before requesting further edits

???? Tips for a Smooth Revision Process

  • Be specific and concise

  • Group all your edits into one message per round

  • Use screenshots with annotations for visual feedback
